Welcome back!

Yesterday, I was digging through a box in the bedroom and I found a fun picture I wanted to share. I entitled it “Say Cheese”. This was a photo that was taken in 2001 when my little one was 3. When I saw it again after so many years … I couldn’t help but smile and be teary-eyed at the same time. Who would have thought that my little premmie would grow up so handsome so quickly?

Here’s my “not-so-little one” now …

I remember when he was 3. When he would always just give me hugs and kisses for no reason and say … “I love you Mommy”. Yes … he still hugs me (sometimes), he still kisses me (sometimes) and once in a long while … he’ll say “I love you” but only when I say it first. *sigh* – I wish we can easily go back. How I used to love to have his little arms around my neck … how he would kiss my cheeks endlessly … how I would laugh at the sound of his contagious giggles …. I better stop right now … cause I’m starting to cry.
