It’s been a while since I “tooted” … but I guess I need to … I want to be accountable!
A few days ago I posted about “How much weight can I lose in 3 weeks?”. If you go to the post – I blog about how seeing some friends (in 3 weeks) that I haven’t seen in a while is motivating me to get into shape. I mean I’m sure my friends wouldn’t care to see my extra flabs … right?
Well … today marks Day #5 of my getting back into exercising. I feel great! Yes, my body hurts but I already feel lighter (is it too soon to tell? Am I just imagining weight-loss?). I see my friends on Mar. 28 – so that means 19 more days to work on dropping some weight and getting rid of flabs – I no longer want to be “Flab-ulous”!
Will you cheer me on? I am blogging about weightloss – I need to lose at least 20 pounds and that is the hardest. After this meet-up with friends on Mar. 28 – I am heading to Vegas mid-May to meet-up with other friends so this is a win-win for me. Hopefully I’ll be set on an exercise routine that will help me be more fit and be “less jiggly” …

PS – Right now, I have been using Core Rhythms to get back into shape. I like it – I like it a LOT!

Glad to hear you’re getting back into the workouts. I have struggled many years with weight loss and even in the past 5 I have lost and gained and it truly is a struggle. But I’m still moving along. I started running 5 weeks ago and will be training for a 1/2 marathon that we’ll run/walk in Jamaica this Dec. Changing things up for sure…it’s gotta help me get over this plateau right? LOL
As of right now I’m spinning and running plus it’s my goal to do strength/ab work at least 3 x a week.
Looking forward to hearing about your journey. Don’t worry too much about the weight, look at the inch loss. That is much more exciting!

Woot woot! Way to get back on track Marie! I need to get back in the habit of exercising again. I’ve been pretty lazy when it comes to that aspect of things. Looking forward to following along on your journey!

I thought I would have given up (on exercising) by now Tishia but surprisingly … I haven’t and I do feel so much lighter.
